24-7 Prayer Lectio apps

From initial design to launch I led the end-to-end development of Lectio 365, a daily devotional and meditation app, transforming centuries old practices into digital reality to reduce everyday stresses . Translating/ed existing designs, researching appropriate frameworks, architecting endpoints for API and developing both admin and API back-end. Core features ranged from offline downloading to background audio and analytics integrations. Lectio 365 currently averages 65,000 global users a day and I provide ongoing support through maintenance, fixes and updates.

Developed multi-step web experience for UK based international relief and development organisation supporting communities across Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe/Ukraine and Central Asia enabling users to virtually build and gift ‘Shoebox gifts’.

End-to-end development of podcast called Unbelievable? app for Premier Radio, Europe’s largest Christian media organisation, user rated 4.8/5. Designed key user flows and developed app right the way through to launch and app store release, working with developers for API end-points and admin permissions.

Eternal Wall

Helped translate Eternal Wall’s vision into a reality, helping design and build their donor website of the world’s largest database of 100,000 hope stories (1 million by 2024), which will also be visible 6 miles away on half a million journeys a week as a new, UK monumental 51metre artwork of a million bricks. It will combine the real and digital to inspire a message of hope through the medium of AR. I also supported the project with technical R & D.
